Since the last post Terry has started kissing back almost every time!  He still sleeps most of the time, but when he's awake he's a little more alert than usual.

Yesterday I came in the living room with a dish of ice cream.  He was awake so I offered him a bite.  He opened his mouth!  I fed him almost the whole dish!  (I eat ice cream out of a juice glass, so it wasn't a lot, but it's the most he's eaten in months!)

Monday we took a trip to the Dallas VA...on the bus at 6:05am and home around 3:30!  It was a hard trip for all of us, but worth it.  They are ordering him a new wheelchair, one that reclines.

We're taking him out today while the weather is beautiful. We're going to the mall to walk around a little.  It's supposed to be 70 today!
