Wednesday evening we rode the bus to the hospital for the sleep study.  Terry didn't sleep very well, in pain again.  Still have no idea where the pain is.   :(

But he really seems to enjoy riding on that bus!  Thanks to Denton Transportation for providing such a wonderful service!  We just call to schedule a trip and they come right to the house and pick us up!

Check out the pictures of his trip!  And then the sleep study.  He was so cute with all the stickers on his bald head.  As usual the nurse just fell in love with him!  Everywhere we go I get compliments on how sweet he is.  He's still touching lives.

Wow!  We had a couple of great days earlier this week!  Terry talked so much!  He was awake and alert almost all day for 2 in a row (Sunday and Monday)!

But now, not so much.  He hasn't talked yesterday or today. :(

Yesterday we saw the Neurologist again.  She's ordered an EEG to see if there's seizure activity.  She was surprised at how much he's declined, since the MRI showed the scarring had stabilized.  We'll go back to see her in a few weeks to get the results.

We had an early morning appointment at the VA hospital today...hearing test.   And in a few minutes we're leaving to spend the night at the hospital for a sleep study.

It's a busy week!

Hopefully Terry will  feel better tomorrow.

So far it's a good day for Terry!  He's sitting in the living room in his wheel chair...pondering....

Yesterday we interviewed 4 Hospice groups.  All were very nice.  There was something unique about each one.  We've narrowed it down to 2.  Thankfully we have a couple of weeks to make up our minds.

Last night Terry tried to talk some...just a word here and there.  Then I was singing to him and he was "singing" with me.....no words with that.  It was cute and sad at the same time.  At least he was making the effort.

Please keep the prayers coming, or rather going. :)

It's been a rather quiet week....not very much interaction, until yesterday.  Terry was groaning early in the morning, over and over.  Sometimes it's hard to tell if he's hurting or just making noise. This was one of those times.  I said, "Good Morning" to him several times and he finally said it back, then groaned again.  I asked "Are you singing?  What are you doing?"  He answered me, "What are you doing?"  Wow!

He  responded several times yesterday....the last one..."I love you too, Babe."  As I've said before, it seems like a small thing, but in our lives it's huge!

Sadly, he didn't sleep well all night, until about 5am this morning.  And he's had a very rough day.

We need your extra prayers this evening.

The last few days have been very quiet. I can't remember Terry saying anything.  He seems fine, otherwise. In fact he slept so peacefully last night.  He never showed any sign of pain, usually he does throughout the night.  I was hoping he would be very alert today; but he isn't. :(

Yesterday evening we took him to see fireworks.  It's so sweet, what used to be for the kids, the kids now do for him.  He never took his eyes off the fireworks, either!  Very worthwhile making the effort to get him there.  Isaac and David went along, also.  So, it was Emily, William, Isaac, David, Terry and me.

Emily posted pictures on Facebook, and I will put some on here soon.
